From the AACC Transition Advisor

Anne Arundel Community College Information

There are approximately 100 Arundel HS students taking a fall ECAP (Early College Access Program) with AACC.  The spring semester starts on January 23 and registration for classes start on November 10.  Students who have taken classes at AACC can use their MYAACC account to schedule and pay for courses.  Students will need to complete another ECAP application for the spring to receive the 50% tuition reduction.  Send the ECAP application to me and I can secure the school signatures and deliver it to AACC. Contact me if you plan on taking another class in the spring.

New ECAP students will need to apply to AACC, set up their MYAACC account, send an ECAP application, register and pay for courses.  Each 3-credit class at AACC is approximately $280.  FARM students will pay a reduced amount of $100. Contact me if you plan on taking a class in the spring.

In the spring there will be three AACC classes with sections reserved for Arundel HS 11th and 12th grade students.  These classes include ACA 100 Student Success Seminar, BPA 111 Introduction to Business and BPA 162 Business Communications.  Books will be provided for students. Contact me if you would like to take all, or some of these classes.

If you are currently a senior and considering AACC as a full full-time student after graduation, please contact me. Remember now is a perfect time to apply for federal financial aid through FAFSA.

From the Senior Class Advisors

The senior class is collecting food items that don't need to be stored (like canned goods) for their Christmas food drive. Please donate your items and put them in the bins outside in the front of the school. This food drive is only going to be on Wednesday (Dec.9 and Dec16 are the last two). If you have any questions, please email Mr. Sacerino.

From the Wildcats Against Children’s Cancer Club

The Wildcats Against Children's Cancer Club is organizing a Holiday Toy Drive for patients with childhood cancer at the Hematology/Oncology unit at Children's National Hospital. Want to contribute? These are the ways you can help!

  1. Drop off toy donations at the designated box (under the overhang) at the front entrance of Arundel High School. The box will be outside of the school starting next Tuesday, 12/8. Items must be brand new, in original packaging, and cannot be gift wrapped. To see recommendations and guidelines for gifts, please visit:
  2.  You can also make a monetary donation to our toy drive by visiting this link:   and selecting Toy Drive Fundraiser (Amanda Coursey).
You can find the link on luciagomezmeca.com
as well (scroll down to Bulletin Board, click on Online School Payments, and select Toy Drive)!

Our club also has a CHIPOTLE fundraiser this Saturday, 12/5 from 4 pm- 8pm at the Waugh Chapel Location. You can order online and use the code QQ6D7HX for pickup OR you can go in and let them know that you are there to support Wildcats Against Children's Cancer (a flyer is also posted on our IG page). We will receive 33% of the proceeds and will use our earnings to fund future activities that we do to support children with cancer.
